Air Defence shoots down Russian UAV in Kherson Oblast

Ukraine’s Air Defence has destroyed a Russian Orion reconnaissance and attacking drone in the skies over Kherson Oblast.

Details: It is reported that the Air Defence Forces of the Operational Command Pivden (South) destroyed a Russian reconnaissance and attacking drone Orion on 9 February, at about 15:00, in Kherson Oblast.

The Air Force explains that the Orion UAV is able to observe the terrain and find targets using standard optical means. Using guided missiles and air bombs, this Russian drone can strike ground targets.
