Quote from Zelenskyy: "Today I convened several crucial meetings. Everyone involved in ensuring the stability of our energy system took part in the energy meeting. The meeting was long: it lasted three hours. The following energy firms [took part]: Naftogaz, Energoatom, Ukrenergo, Ukrhydroenergo, and others. The government, the Office [of the President], the head of the Verkhovna Rada [Ukrainian parliament] energy committee, the military and defence intelligence [also took part].

The winter is over. It was very difficult, and I would not be exaggerating if I say that every Ukrainian has felt that difficulty. But we were able to provide energy and heat for Ukraine.

Yes, there is an ongoing threat to our energy system. But the work [to maintain and protect] the energy system is also ongoing.

We have set out the main tasks to successfully wrap up this heating season. And we have already started preparing for the next one; each of the meeting’s participants was given their share of work. When we see threats, we find ways to deal with them."
