Ukrainian defenders strike 16 clusters of Russian military manpower – General Staff report

Over the past day, Ukrainian defenders attacked 16 areas where Russian military manpower was concentrated and destroyed other Russian targets.

Details: Over the past day, the Russians carried out 43 air and 4 missile attacks, and opened fire from multiple-launch rocket systems 51 times.

The Russians are concentrating their main efforts on the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka fronts, with 26 combat clashes taking place over the past day.

On the Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna fronts, the Russians carried out an airstrike on Yanzhulivka, Chernihiv Oblast.

Russian forces deployed mortars and artillery to attack Kliusy, Yanzhulivka, Kostobobriv, Halahanivka and Hremiach in Chernihiv Oblast; Chuikivka, Bachivsk, Svarkove, Atynske, Starykove, Boiaro-Lezhachi, Stari Vyrky, Sosnivka, Iskrystivshchyna, Volfyne, Basivka, Myropillia, Stepok, Krasnopillia, Novodmytrivka, Velyka Pysarivka and Ponomarenky in Sumy Oblast, as well as Huriv Kozachok, Udy, Chervona Zoria, Kozacha Lopan, Strilecha, Starytsia, Ohirtseve, Pletenivka, Vovchanski Khutory, Pokaliane, Okhrimivka, Kruhle, Budarky, Zemlianky, Loshakove, Potykhonove and Komisarove in Kharkiv Oblast. 

On the Kupiansk front, the Russians conducted offensives near Novoselivske in Luhansk Oblast and Berestove in Kharkiv Oblast but were unsuccessful. Fyholivka, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kamianka and Kyslivka in Kharkiv Oblast and Novoselivske in Luhansk Oblast came under Russian artillery and mortar fire.

On the Lyman front, the Russians tried to advance near Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast but were unsuccessful. The settlements of Stelmakhivka, Nevske and Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast and Torske, Verhniokamianske, Rozdolivka, Spirne and Serebrianka in Donetsk Oblast came under artillery fire.

On the Bakhmut front, Russian troops deployed artillery to fire on Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bohdanivka, Khromove, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Ozarianivka, Bila Hora, Kostiantynivka and Pivdenne in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Avdiivka front, the Russians conducted unsuccessful offensives near Stepove and Avdiivka. They also launched airstrikes near Sukha Balka and Avdiivka. Russian forces bombarded Stepove, Tonenke, Pervomaiske, Avdiivka, Vesele and Karlivka in Donetsk Oblast. 

On the Marinka front, Ukraine’s defenders repelled all Russian attacks near Marinka. The Russians launched airstrikes near Krasnohorivka in Donetsk Oblast. They also deployed artillery to attack Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Marinka, Pobieda, Maksymilianivka and Kostiantynivka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Shakhtarsk front, Russian forces tried to advance near Novomykhailivka and Vodiane in Donetsk Oblast, but Ukraine’s defenders repelled all Russian attacks. The Russians conducted airstrikes near Zolota Nyva, Blahodatne and Vuhledar. They also bombarded Shakhtarske, Prechystivka, Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, Storozheve, Novosilka and Novopil in Donetsk Oblast.

Russian forces are on the defensive on the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson fronts. They conducted airstrikes on Mala Tokmachka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast and Havrylivka, Kozatske and Komyshany in Kherson Oblast. Russian troops deployed artillery to fire on Olhivske, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Huliaipilske, Novodarivka, Levadne, Malynivka, Chervone, Novoandriivka, Stepove, Lobkove, Stepnohirsk and Kamianske in Zaporizhzhia Oblast; Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast; Kherson, Mykhailivka, Novodmytrivka, Chervonyi Maiak, Shliakhove, Beryslav, Vesele, Kozatske, Mykolaivka, Burhunka, Olhivka, Tiahynka, Novotiahynka, Poniativka, Sadove, Molodizhne, Antonivka, Chornobaivka, Romashkove, Dniprovske, Berehove, Veletenske, Kizomys and Sofiivka in Kherson Oblast, and Ochakiv in Mykolaiv Oblast.

Over the course of 3 June, Ukrainian aircraft carried out 14 airstrikes on areas where Russian military personnel were concentrated. In addition, Ukraine’s defenders destroyed two anti-aircraft missile systems.

Units from Ukraine’s Rocket Forces and Artillery struck three Russian command posts, two areas where Russian military manpower and equipment were concentrated, five ammunition storage points and three artillery units at their firing positions.
