Ukraine's Armed Forces liberate 14 square kilometres of territory in one week

Over the past week, from 3 to 9 July, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have liberated over 14 square kilometres of Ukrainian territory: 10.2 square kilometres in the country's south and 4 square kilometres in the east.

Details: In the east, as a result of improving the tactical position and evening the front line – the area of the liberated territories was increased by four square kilometres in one week. The total liberated area in the east is 24 square kilometres over one week.

In the south, as a result of offensive operations in certain areas, Ukrainian forces managed to advance deep into the Russian defence lines. The liberated territory was increased by 10.2 square kilometres in a week. The total area of liberated land in the south is 168.6 square kilometres.

During the past week, the Russians inflicted 39 missile strikes and 334 airstrikes on Ukraine.

On the eastern front, the number of attacks increased to 7,184. The Russians used 343,402 artillery shells and missiles on Ukrainian defenders over the mentioned period.

Over the past week, 4,318 Russian attacks were recorded on the Tavria front.

Meanwhile, the successes of the Ukrainian defenders are as follows:

  • Over 79 strikes have been delivered on clusters of Russian personnel;
  • 8 command points destroyed;
  • 17 electronic warfare stations destroyed;
  • 11 ammunition depots hit;
  • 24 anti-aircraft missile systems destroyed;
  • 39 out of 67 Iranian-made Shahed-131/136 attack drones shot down.
