Quote: "Russia and Belarus will not be represented at the Olympic Games officially. And now we have started a discussion on the possibility that, if Russia and Belarus do not attend the Olympic Games, our athletes could participate in all qualifying competitions for the Olympic Games to be held in Paris in 2024."

The minister stressed that Ukraine had sought to ensure that Russia and Belarus were not present at the Olympics, and it succeeded: "The flag and other symbols of Russia and Belarus will not be there."

"As for the participation of our athletes, we are now considering, discussing, clarifying this issue every day with all the presidents of the federations and we will soon know our joint decision," he said.
