Zelenskyy holds talks with NATO Secretary General on eve of Vilnius summit

In a telephone conversation with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed the parties' positions on the eve of the Vilnius summit, as well as the situation at the front and the latest events inside Russia.

Quote: "On the eve of the NATO Summit in Vilnius on July 11-12, I had a phone call with Jens Stoltenberg, the Secretary General of NATO," Zelenskyy said.

According to the President, he congratulated Stoltenberg on the decision of the Allies to extend his mandate as Secretary General for another year. 

"I am hopeful that our cooperation will remain fruitful in the future. I thanked Jens Stoltenberg for his personal efforts to support Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic aspirations," the head of the state noted.

"We coordinated our positions on the eve of the NATO Summit in Vilnius and discussed the situation on the frontline and the latest developments in Russia," the president added.
