Russia confirms drone attack on Moscow

The Russian Defence Ministry has confirmed that Moscow was attacked by a drone on the night of 17-18 August, but claimed the drone had been downed.

Details: The Russian Defence Ministry said that the drone tried to attack facilities in Moscow and Moscow Oblast, but "after an air defence system hit it, it changed its flight path and fell on a non-residential building near Krasnopresnenskaya Embankment, Moscow."

The ministry assures that there were no casualties or fires due to the falling of the drone.
