Russians hit Dnipro with missiles: 7 injured, extensive damage reported

Russian forces fired rockets at the city of Dnipro on the night of 23-24 August, injuring seven people and damaging residential and other buildings, buses, cars, water and gas pipelines.

Quote: "Powerful explosions rocked Dnipro in the middle of the night. The enemy hit the city with missiles. One of them was shot down by defenders from Air Command Skhid (East).

But there were also strikes. A transport facility was damaged. Seven people were injured, including three men and four women, aged 32 to 55. Most of them had lacerations and shrapnel wounds. Six were hospitalised in moderate condition."

Details: Lysak added that a dozen facilities were damaged, including a bank, a petrol station, a hotel, premises belonging to an agricultural company and a furniture manufacturer, and an administrative building. Additionally, 15 kiosk shops were damaged.

In addition, two residential buildings, three buses and several cars, a trolleybus network line, as well as water and gas pipelines, were damaged.

Background: On the night of 23-24 August, explosions were reportedly heard in Dnipro, and the Air Force reported that air defence was responding in the oblast.
