Ukraine's Security Service and Armed Forces launch drone strike on Russian brigade in Crimea, dozens of casualties reported

Ukrainian defence forces, together with the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU), have launched a drone strike on the 126th Brigade of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, based in the village of Perevalne in temporarily occupied Crimea. So far several dozen Russians are reported to have been killed or wounded.

Quote: "Today's [25 August – ed.] strike on the 126th Brigade of the Russian Black Sea Fleet is a joint special operation by SSU military counterintelligence and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The occupiers were successfully targeted by drones."

Details: The exact number of drones is not specified, but it is noted that it was a group of UAVs.

Ukrainska Pravda’s sources noted that several dozen Russians were killed or wounded.

Ammunition storage points were also hit and military equipment was seriously damaged.

The source said the Russians were unprepared for the joint special operation by the SSU and the Armed Forces of Ukraine: "Our drones managed to bypass all enemy defences."

The SSU is predicting even more "surprises" for the occupiers in the future.
