Ukraine's Armed Forces confirm two bridges in occupied territories being struck

The Department of Strategic Communications of Ukrainian Armed Forces has confirmed the strikes on the Chonhar and Henichesk automobile bridges.

Background:
- On Sunday, 6 August, Russians reported a missile strike that supposedly occurred on the Chonhar bridge connecting Crimea with Kherson Oblast.
- At the same time, Volodymyr Saldo, Russian-appointed puppet leader in Kherson Oblast, said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck the bridge across the Henichesk Strait connecting occupied Henichesk with the Arabat Spit.
