US Secretary of State plans to visit Israel for second time in a week
Secretary of State Antony Blinken will return to Israel after a tour through six Arab countries.

Blinken’s second visit to Israel this week is planned to be held on 16 October, after his visit to Cairo where he had met with Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, President of Egypt.
State Department spokesman Matthew Miller told reporters who were travelling with Blinken that the secretary would return to Tel-Aviv to "consult with officials on the latest developments". Miller has not specified any details.
Blinken also held a meeting with the Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman al-Saud in Riyadh.
Before that he visited Israel on 12 October and assured the Israeli Prime Minister of support from the side of Washington.
Earlier it was revealed that US President Joe Biden had had phone conversations with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Mahmoud Abbas, the President of the State of Palestine, amid Israel’s preparation for a military operation in the Gaza Strip.
