"And the Global Summit might take place in February 2024," he said.

The official stated that the summit on the Peace Formula will necessarily take place since "it will mark both the symbolic beginning of the practical implementation of the Ukrainian 'peace formula' and summarise all the results that have already been achieved on this track."

While acknowledging that the Middle East's events were influencing the priorities on the agenda for the countries in the region, Zhovkva pointed out that Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Qatar were still present at last month's talks in Malta.

"We don't need the summit for the sake of summit. We are talking about the widest possible involvement of the leaders of the Global South. Therefore, we must carefully consider the time and place of the Summit," he said.

Ukraine has previously declared its intention to hold a global summit on the Peace Formula by the end of the year and has already held three preparatory meetings at the level of advisers in Copenhagen, Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) and Malta.
