The only legal entity of the music streaming service Spotify in Russia was liquidated on 14 December, meaning that Spotify has completely ceased its operations in Russia.

Details: Spotify registered as a legal entity in Russia in January 2014. The service started operating in the country in July 2020. In the spring of 2022, the company announced that it would cease operations in the Russian market.

On 15 December 2023, one of its two Russian legal entities (Cisco Systems LLC) was also liquidated by the network equipment manufacturer Cisco. The other (Cisco Solutions LLC) continues to operate; the company announced its withdrawal from Russia in June 2022.
