Explosion damages metro station in Kyiv: trains pass it without stopping

The building of the Lukianivska metro station in Kyiv has been damaged by an explosion, and trains are passing the station without stopping.

Background:

• An air-raid warning was issued in Kyiv and throughout Ukraine because of a Russian missile attack on the morning of 29 December. Air defence systems are responding in the capital.
• Missile pieces fell in two districts in Kyiv; a residential high-rise building caught fire, and people were injured.
