Russian Shahed UAVs observed in Ukraine's south

Russian forces launched Shahed UAVs into the territory of Ukraine on the evening of 29 December, flying through the country's south.

Details: An air-raid warning was issued in Mykolaiv, Kherson and Odesa oblasts. 

Quote: "Shahed UAVs are observed on the border of Odesa and Mykolaiv oblasts to the north-west."

At 22:04 the Air Force warned of a threat to Vinnytsia and Kirovohrad oblasts. Movement of Shahed drones was also observed in Mykolaiv Oblast in the direction of Odesa Oblast. 

At 23:51 it was reported that the UAVs in Khmelnytskyi Oblast were flying towards Starokostiantyniv.

Updated: At 01:19 on 30 December, Ukraine’s Air Force reported that the threat of assault UAVs had receded.
