An action-reminder Second New Year in Captivity. Speak Up. Captivity kills! was held in the city of Kyiv in support of Ukrainian prisoners of war.

Details: An action in the form of a human corridor with posters in hands was held in the Ukrainian capital near the Gulliver shopping mall.
The organisers of the event are the families of captured soldiers of the Mariupol garrison who assembled in order to remind the public about those who are still in Russian captivity and to once again stress the necessity of bringing them home.
Several dozens of people participated in the action. They held the posters with "Free Azov", "Azov saved Ukraine, who will save Azov?", "Everyone is captivated by the holidays now but some are in captivity during holidays", "I don’t want holidays, I want a PoW swap", etc. written on them.
The participants have also brought the flags of Ukraine, the city of Mariupol and the Azov regiment to the action.
Background:
- The Ukrainian soldiers held the defence of the city of Mariupol for over 80 days. On 16 May 2022, the evacuation of the defenders of the city from the encircled Azovstal plant began.
- After the evacuation, the defenders are now waiting for the PoW swap as it was agreed. So far, only some of the soldiers were swapped.
