Air defence responding in Khmelnytskyi Oblast

The sounds of explosions could be heard in Khmelnytskyi Oblast on the night of 3-4 December  as air defence systems were responding.

Details: An air-raid warning was issued in the oblast. 

Updated at 01:27: Tiurin reported that air defence systems were responding in the oblast. He said residents of Khmelnytskyi District could hear the sounds of explosions and that this was air defence forces in operation.

He also asked the residents to stay in shelters until the all-clear was given.

Updated: On Monday morning, Khmelnytskyi Oblast Military Administration stated that "there are no reports of casualties or damage to infrastructure".

Background: At 00:49, the Air Force reported that Shahed drones were near Khmelnytskyi and were moving towards the settlement of Starokostiantyniv.
