Israel expands ground operations to entire Gaza Strip – Israel Defence Forces

The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) announced on Sunday that Israel is expanding its ground operations to the entire Gaza Strip.

Details: IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari said at a news conference on Sunday that the IDF is resuming and expanding its ground operation against Hamas strongholds throughout the Gaza Strip. 

He also stressed the importance of the air support provided by the Air Force to the ground forces", noting that airstrikes on terrorist headquarters, weapons factories, terrorist tunnels and missile launch sites reduce the threats of a ground operation.
