One person was killed, at least eight were injured, and two of them are in severe condition, as a result of a Russian morning attack on Pavlohrad district in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

Details: Due to a massive missile attack on Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, there was destruction in Pavlohrad, Ternivka and Yurivka hromadas, as reported by the head of the Oblast Military Administration [a hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories - ed.]. 

An industrial facility, 16 private residential buildings and five summer country houses have been damaged. A church has also been hit. One personal vehicle has also been affected. 

Updated at 13:13: Updated information indicates that a missile attack on Pavlohrad resulted in eight people being wounded. They are men aged from 32 to 66. Two of them will be recovering at home, while the rest have been hospitalised. 13 residents received psychological support.

In addition to Pavlohrad, Ternivka and Yurivka hromadas, there is destruction in Mezhyrich hromada.

In total, more than 20 residential buildings and nine outbuildings, as well as a secondary school, have been damaged. Power lines have also been affected, as reported by the head of the Oblast Military Administration. 

Background: Earlier on Friday, Lysak reported that "it was loud in Pavlohrad in the morning."

Interior Minister Ihor Klimenko confirmed that "the Russians launched a missile strike on Pavlohrad".
