Shahed drone hits residential building in Sumy Oblast, killing woman and man

A Russian Shahed drone has hit a two-storey residential building in Esman hromada, Sumy Oblast, causing destruction; people are trapped under the rubble, three have already been rescued [a hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]. The Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office reported that a woman and man have died from their injuries.

Three people have been rescued from under the rubble. They are being provided with medical assistance.

Updated: The police reported that a woman and a man, 52 and 40 respectively, had sustained severe injuries and died in hospital, and another woman was injured as well.
