A transport overhead contact system was damaged as a result of a Russian attack on Kherson on the night of 14-15 January, which caused the temporary suspension of the trolleybus service, but this has now been successfully restored.

Details: Mrochko reported that Kherson hromada was attacked 15 times over the past day, and the Russians used 65 projectiles to strike it [a hromada is an administrative unit designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories – ed.]. There were hits in Kherson, Sadove and Antonivka.

Cables and an overhead contact system were damaged due to attacks, which stopped trolleybus traffic in Kherson.

However, trolleybus traffic in Kherson has been fully restored as of 09:38.

Employees of the Khersonelectrotrans [Kherson electric transport] utility company have repaired the entire damaged overhead line. There are 21 trolleybuses running on the city’s routes.
