At least three Ukrainians tortured by Russians found near Konotop

Dmytro Zhyvytskyy, Head of Sumy Military Administration, reported three people found tortured in the Konotop district.

According to Zhyvytskyy: "The area (Konotop district - ed.) is continuing to recover from the orcs’ (Russian troops -ed.) invasion.

At least three tortured Ukrainians have already been found at former enemy strongholds. They were civilians."

Background:

  • On 1 April, the city head of Bucha, Anatolii Fedoruk, said that the city had been liberated from the Russian invaders.
  • On 2 April, Fedoruk said that a mass grave with around 300 people buried in the city had been discovered, with dozens of corpses lying in the streets, some of them with their hands tied.
  • On 3 April, the prosecutor-general said that 410 bodies of murdered civilians had been removed from the Kyiv Region, which had been liberated from the invaders - these victims are being examined by forensic experts to document Russian crimes.
