IRYNA BALACHUK – SATURDAY, 9 APRIL 2022, 14:27

Andrii Yermak, the Head of the Office of President, is convinced that Russia will not be able to win in Donbas, because Ukraine will not step back and will not give up its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Source: Yermak’s Telegram Channel

Yermak's quote: "Russia cannot occupy the entire territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are defending it, so the Kremlin continues its tactics of terror. They are shelling houses in Sievierodonetsk, killing civilians at Kramatorsk station. They want to kill people along with destroying the cities, but this tactic will not work.

Russia will suffer a crushing defeat in Donbas. There are many of them, like locusts, but they will not win in the Donbas. Ukraine will not step back and will not give up its sovereignty and territorial integrity".

Details: He added that for now Ukraine can only imagine the number of crimes and the horrors that have yet to be revealed in Mariupol.

Yermak also noted that he did not like the comparison of Mariupol with Stalingrad, because "Russia's aggression against Ukraine is special, and crimes against civilians and genocide also mean something special to the world".

"There will be no "our Stalingrad," and after the victory there will be Mariupol, Bucha, Irpin, Hostomel, Borodianka, and all evidence of war crimes will be handed over to The Hague.

There will be the memory of Ukrainian victims, there will be our historical memory, which we will not allow to be blurred by such comparisons",  the Head of the Office of President concluded.
