Russian troops shell Zaporizhzhia village where humanitarian corridor was agreed

Russian occupation forces have shelled the village of Kamianske in Zaporizhzhia Region where a "green [evacuation] corridor" had been agreed for Friday, 6 May.

Quote from Zaporizhzhia Military Administration: "Heavy shelling of towns and villages by enemy troops continues in Zaporizhzhia Region. A new armed attack by the Russians on Kamianske has damaged private houses.

Despite the fact that most people have left the village, some of the local residents remained in their homes. They say that the village is regularly shelled and that they are used to those terrible sounds. Many homes have been completely destroyed or burned down in the wake of Russian armed aggression, entire families wounded or killed; even animals suffer in the enemy attacks."

Details: An evacuation corridor was agreed from the village of Kamianske, Vasyliv District, between 10:00 and 14:00 on Friday, 6 May.

Earlier: Russian occupiers intensified air and artillery attacks on the Zaporizhzhia front: the towns of Huliaipole and Orikhiv are the most affected.
