Russia cannot intimidate Ukrainians by missile strikes – UK's ambassador to UN

Russia cannot intimidate Ukrainians and force them to capitulate by launching missile strikes.

Details: Kariuki said Russia's actions demonstrate a complete disregard for international law and the UN Charter. Russia tries to intimidate Ukraine, its residents and those who support Ukraine, but it will not succeed. 

In his opinion, Ukrainians have shown that nobody will force them into submission, and "Russia should know that the UK stands proudly by their side".

He called on Russia to "withdraw your troops, cease the bloodshed and end this senseless war".
