Quote: "After suffering devastating losses, the Russian aggressors have started a terrorist war. They are behaving like criminals and cowards. They are killing and taking hostage civilians, women and children.

As of 10 March, Russian aggressors had killed more Ukrainian civilians than military personnel in all defence sectors. I want this to be heard not only in Ukraine, but all over the world.

The Kremlin is bombing schools, hospitals, and maternity hospitals. Moscow does not protect anyone. It destroys. The Russians are not able to fight our army, national guard, and territorial defence forces. As a result, they attack the most vulnerable.

We will avenge every Ukrainian. Every Russian terrorist will be held accountable for crimes against humanity! We have lists of participants of the Russian aggression and their accomplices, and they will be provided to all relevant institutions. No one will go unpunished for all the horrors and evil they have brought to Ukraine and the world."

According to Reznikov, saving lives is the priority for state leadership, through the arrangement of humanitarian corridors for the evacuation of citizens and the delivery of humanitarian goods.

"We are doing everything we can, considering that the Russians are not keeping their word," he said.

Background: According to Petro Andriushchenko, an adviser to the mayor of Mariupol, about 1,300 civilians have been killed during the siege of the city by the Russian forces.
