Ukraine's Parliament supportive of UN peacekeeping mission in Ukraine

The Verkhovna Rada (Parliament) supports the deployment of the UN Peacekeeping Forces in Ukraine.

Quote: "We consider it necessary to deloy to Ukraine peacekeeping forces in line with the UNGA Resolution 377 (V) "United for Peace" of 3 November 1950."

Details: Korniyenko also stated that Ukrainian MPs demand the immediate enforcement of a no-fly zone over the territory of Ukraine, that would help save civilian lives, cultural heritage, and critical infrastructure.

Furthermore, the Parliament calls for the opening of humanitarian corridors for the safe evacuation of women, children, and elderly persons, as well as for the provision of humanitarian assistance to victims and civilians.

Previously, on 3 March, the Verkhovna Rada approved the Decree of the President of Ukraine "On the general mobilization" and adopted a number of wartime laws, including on the criminal prosecution of collaborationism, treason, and propaganda of the aggressor.
