Russian infiltrators in Ukraine could pick up momentum on 9 May - Ministry of Internal Affairs

The Ministry of Internal Affairs is presuming that infiltrators and other criminal elements will step up their activity just before 9 May.

Details: Yevhenii Yenin clarified that over 5,000 law enforcement officers across the country will be involved in ensuring security during the planned events on the Day of Victory over Nazism in World War II.
According to him, special operations are currently being carried out in a number of Ukrainian cities to prevent possible provocations.
The Deputy Minister noted that law enforcement officers identify potential infiltrators virtually every day. For example, a person who cooperated with the aggressors was apprehended in one of the central regions of Ukraine on Friday. According to law enforcement officers, during the time when the Kyiv region was temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation, the person concerned had tipped the aggressors off about places where strategic reserves had been amassed, shown them where Anti-Terrorist Operation members and activists live, etc.
Quote: "We are receiving information about the anticipated shelling of peaceful territories, and therefore I call on every Ukrainian not to ignore air raid signals, especially on these days.
And, of course, for the Russian aggressor these symbolic dates are like red rags to a bull. Therefore, we are ready to counter sabotage and reconnaissance groups and other criminal elements, which are likely to step up their activity on these particular days.
While the whole civilised world is remembering the victims of the terrible wars on these days, the Russian Federation wants parades and is preparing to dance on the bones in Mariupol. So 9 May is not a day of victory for Russia, it is a day of great shame."
Background: Authorities do not plan to extend the curfew on 8 and 9 May in Kyiv, but law enforcement will step up street patrols.
