The Russian occupiers opened fire with prohibited cluster shells at a beach near a lake in the town of Chasiv Yar, Bakhmut district, Donetsk Oblast. As a result, one person died and 11 others were injured.

Details: According to the head of the Oblast Military Administration, one person was killed and 11 others were injured in the shelling. Yet another crime by the occupiers has been documented.
Background:
- On the night of 22 June, the Russians fired on the borders in Chernihiv Oblast and on Chuhuiv and Kharkiv; fighting continues in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions, and civilians have been killed and wounded there.
