Russia "mobilises" hospital patients to take part in hostilities – General Staff

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has reported that Russian forces are continuing to undertake forced mobilisation measures on the occupied territories of Ukraine, resorting to forcing male hospital patients to take up arms.

Quote from the General Staff: "Forced mobilisation is currently underway on the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

In Donetsk, Russian occupiers have found a new ‘source’ to replenish losses in manpower. For example, recently, representatives of the Russian occupation army have started arriving at local hospitals and forcibly ‘discharging’ patients.

In particular, they ‘discharge’ men of conscription age who are receiving treatment for various illnesses or injuries, including from taking part in hostilities."

Details: Meanwhile, the "soldiers" of the 2nd Army Corps are reporting being discriminated against in favour of other units of the Russian Armed Forces.

The Ukrainian General Staff reports that personnel from the 2nd Army Corps have not received the raises they were promised, while Russian military personnel in other military units have received such raises.

In addition, there is a lack of quality medical supplies.

"This has a significant detrimental effect on the morale and psychological state of the military personnel," the General Staff notes.
