Quote from Fedorov: "(The occupiers - ed.) can simply pick people up in the middle of the street, take them to the military enlistment office or to the commandant's office. And there they are released, but immediately put on a register. And there are examples when they were also taken to the army.

Overall, three thousand residents of Melitopol have already been taken to some pseudo-volunteer battalions."

Background: At the end of September, Fedorov called on men of conscription age to leave the city due to the Russian President’s announcement of partial mobilisation.
