Russians shelling Kherson: at least 5 people killed

On Tuesday, 21 February, the Russian occupying forces are terrorising the city of Kherson with shelling.

Details: According to local journalists, who refer to the words of eyewitnesses, the Russians shelled the centre of Kherson in particular, attacking a public transport stop where many people were. As a result of the shelling, several people were killed and injured.

Most also write about the missile strike at a residential building in the centre of the city.

Update: Dmytro Pletenchuk, spokesman for the Kherson Defence Commandant's Office, told Suspilne that at least six people have been killed when Russian troops shelled a public transport stop in the city of  Kherson.

According to the Operational Command Pivden (South), the Russians hit residential areas, critical infrastructure, a kindergarten, a hospital, private garages and cars in the city of Kherson. 

Several buildings were heavily damaged, and several flats in apartment buildings caught fire as a result of direct hits.

As of now, 6 people have been killed and 12 wounded. The data is being established.

At the same time, Kherson City Council reported that as of 15:00, 5 people have been killed and 16 hospitalised as a result of the Russian attack on 21 February.
