Zelenskyy and First Lady go on an official visit to Sweden
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced on Saturday an official visit to Sweden with First Lady Olena Zelenska.

Details: Zelenskyy said that he will meet with Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia, Parliament Speaker Andreas Norlén and heads of parliamentary parties in Sweden.
Quote: "Extensive Ukrainian-Swedish negotiations. I would like to personally thank Sweden for supporting our struggle for freedom and independence," the president emphasised.
Zelenskyy clarified that the negotiations in Sweden will be devoted to military aid, the development of bilateral cooperation, particularly in the defence industry, the European integration of Ukraine, and security in the Euro-Atlantic space.
This is the first visit of the President of Ukraine to Sweden since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia in February 2022. The last time Zelenskyy was abroad was in July to participate in the NATO summit in Vilnius.
Background: Ulf Kristersson, the Prime Minister of Sweden, visited Kyiv in February this year.
