Classes began on 4 September, each class has three subjects. Most of the students are first-graders, there are also junior and middle school classes, and a few senior classes.

The information that Kharkiv schools would operate in the metro was spread before the school year. However, most students continue to study remotely.

Previously, the metro school planned to teach 60 classes in two shifts, but there was a stir among parents.
