US aid to Ukraine yields substantial returns in production and jobs in US, Zelenskyy says

In an interview with American media, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that a significant part of the funds for military aid to Ukraine will return to the United States through production and jobs.

Quote: "I hope that Congress will help us, and I hope that the help of the United States will be around the Ukrainian people. And I hope the United States will be with us against Russian terrorism," Zelenskyy said.

Details: Addressing the growing number of Americans who believe that money is better spent on their country’s needs, Zelenskyy said that much of this money comes back to the United States through production and jobs.

Quote: "When you produce for Ukraine and with Ukraine, you produce it also with Americans. So, the big parts will be production in your states," Zelenskyy said. 

Details: Zelenskyy also talked about the gradual progress of Ukraine in the Black Sea.

The president noted that Ukrainian defenders were successful in Crimea and the Black Sea, "In Crimea, we had success in the Black Sea. We really destroyed … part of the Russian fleet … They don’t have such total influence on the Black Sea region."
