Zelenskyy doubts Putin will ever call him

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has been asked whether he would pick up the phone if Russian president Vladimir Putin were to call him.

Quote: "He won't call me. He doesn't want to end this war. As of today, that's the reality. 

Weakening their army on the battlefield, weakening them politically with isolation from the [rest of the] world, weakening them with sanctions – this is all about making Putin poor. 

For him, money is the number one priority. If you listen to his messages, it's all about money. He ensures the security of these funds, even frozen assets abroad."
