Biden aware of Putin's new nuclear statements – White House
US President Joe Biden is aware of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s new statements regarding nuclear weapons.

Details: The White House noted that Putin is attempting to blackmail the West.
"The President certainly is aware," Jean-Pierre said in response to the question whether the president was informed about Putin's latest nuclear threats.
She emphasised that the Kremlin leader had reaffirmed Russia's nuclear doctrine in his interview. Nevertheless, his rhetoric has remained reckless and irresponsible throughout the entire Russian-initiated conflict against Ukraine.
Jean-Pierre stated that the administration saw no reason to adjust the US nuclear strategy and pointed out that there are no signs that Russia was preparing to use nuclear weapons in Ukraine.
