Although the Russian occupiers are still applying pressure in many areas, there are now opportunities to send brigades on alternate rest periods.

Concurrently, a series of actions are being conducted to fortify the brigades that are still engaged in frontline combat."

Details: The General Staff claims that such a decision was made after considering the number of certain units that do not participate in hostilities.

It is worth noting that thousands of released troops were assigned to military units.

"This process will continue," the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces adds.

Background: Ukrainian President's Office stated that Ukraine’s leadership expects Oleksandr Syrsky, the newly-appointed chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, to conduct an "audit" of soldiers, because out of the 1 million of mobilised soldiers only 300,000 persons participated in combat.
