Details: On the 12th day of the Russian military invasion, the Russian army continues its offensive against Ukraine.

From the beginning of the day, Russian occupying forces continued to carry out rocket, bomb, and artillery strikes on towns and villages in Ukraine.

Russian troops continue to use the airfield network of the Republic of Belarus to carry out air strikes on Ukraine.

According to the Armed Forces of Ukraine: "By acting insidiously, the occupiers are violating the rules of international humanitarian law, shelling civilians and ‘green corridors’, taking women and children hostage, placing equipment and ammunition in residential neighbourhoods, artificially creating a humanitarian crisis in the occupied towns and villages.

For example, the town of Irpin has had no electricity, water, and heat for more than three days, there is no supply of food and drinking water, and the occupiers have forbidden citizens from leaving their homes.

There are also many cases of staged reports for Russian TV channels about the alleged humanity and compassion of the invading soldiers. The enemy also continues to distribute, on social media, supposedly first-person reports, which present the activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a negative light."

Details: The Defence Forces of Ukraine are continuing to carry out a defence operation on all fronts where the Russian forces are advancing. The Russian army continues to suffer heavy losses in manpower, as well as both ground and air strike equipment. Many Russian soldiers are surrendering.
