Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, as part of his visit to Davos, held a meeting with Luxembourg Prime Minister Luc Frieden, who assumed office in November.

Zelenskyy noted that he thanked Frieden for Luxembourg's support, including on Ukraine's path to the EU, and for allocating EUR 50 billion to Ukraine.

Quote: "I informed [Frieden] about the battlefield situation and Ukraine’s [primary] defence needs. We discussed continued cooperation, including financial assistance for Ukraine, the seizure of frozen Russian assets, and the Peace Formula," the president said.

Zelenskyy and Frieden noted the successful holding of the fourth meeting of advisers on the Peace Formula in Davos. The Ukrainian president invited Luxembourg to contribute to preparing for the Global Peace Summit.
