NBU Head Andrii Pyshnyi expressed his gratitude to his counterparts from the US Department of the Treasury for their assistance in enhancing the cyber resilience of the Ukrainian financial system and strengthening its ability to respond to cyber incidents.

"Enhancing cybersecurity and jointly counteracting emerging cyber threats is essential for the stable and continuous operation of the Ukrainian financial sector. This issue is especially relevant in the context of the hybrid war that Russia has been waging against Ukraine for three years now, in addition to full-scale military aggression," he stressed.

Pyshnyi added that cooperation between the NBU and the US Department of the Treasury in this area will help maintain an effective system of protection for banks and financial institutions from cyber threats, particularly under martial law, and ensure the stability of financial markets.
