Russia strikes Sumy with guided aerial bombs, injuring six – photos

Early reports indicate that six people have been injured in a Russian guided aerial bomb attack on the city of Sumy.

Quote from the State Emergency Service: "Sumy: the Russians have struck the city with guided aerial bombs; early reports indicate six people have been injured. Houses and apartment buildings have been damaged."

Details: The State Emergency Service reported that hits have been recorded at three locations. At one of them, the roof of a house caught fire and the flames threatened to spread further.

First responders temporarily suspended their work due to the threat of a repeat strike.

Emergency workers have now extinguished the fires, provided assistance to the residents and inspected the areas. Rescue workers from the Sumy hromada have also been working at the sites of the strikes.

Background: On the evening of 29 September, Oleh Hryhorov, Head of Sumy Oblast Military Administration, reported that two people were killed and nine were injured, including three children, in the Russian strikes on the city.
