400 children born in Kyiv since the start of the Russian invasion

In Ukraine it is the 9th day of the war with Russia. During this time, 390 children have been born in Kyiv.

This was announced by the Kyiv Department of Health that published photos of mothers with their babies.

A total of 199 boys and 191 girls were born since martial law was imposed in the capital.

Quote: "These are the children who were born in 8 days of war! There are 390 of them: 199 boys and 191 girls so far. And we are ready to meet the next arrivals!

"Children in Kyiv are born to live, to create the future for Ukraine! May they be healthy and happy! And grow under a peaceful sky and a bright sun!"

According to Vitaliy Klitschko, the Mayor of Kyiv, today the capital's hospitals are supplied with everything they need and are working more intensively. In particular, maternity hospitals have been receiving expectant mothers for the past eight days.

In Ukraine in the first two days of war three children were born in shelters. One of the babies was born in the Kyiv metro, and two more in a bomb shelter in a maternity hospital in Kherson.

In addition, the Department of Health  provided information on how to register a newborn in Ukraine.
