Widespread damage reported in 5 districts of Kyiv after Russian attack – photo
Russian forces attacked Kyiv on the night of 27-28 September, damaging residential buildings and civilian infrastructure in the Solomianskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, Holosiivskyi, Darnytskyi and Dniprovskyi districts.

Details: In the Solomianskyi district, a five-storey residential building was hit: the body of a 12-year-old girl was recovered from under the rubble and three people were rescued. The Institute of Cardiology building was also damaged, where two people were killed.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said that falling debris had caused a fire at a petrol station in the same district.
A two-storey non-residential building caught fire.
In the Holosiivskyi district, a house was hit. The roof and a wall of the building were partially destroyed, but no fire broke out.
Another house was damaged and caught fire.
In the Sviatoshynskyi district, debris fell on an open area.
In the Dniprovskyi district, two parked cars caught fire. The fire was extinguished.
In the Darnytskyi district, a children’s educational facility was damaged.
Background: Kyiv City Military Administration reported that at least four people had been killed in the overnight Russian attack on Kyiv.
