Vote count completed in Moldova: ruling party wins 50.2%
The Central Electoral Commission of Moldova has completed the vote count in the parliamentary elections. The ruling PAS party has won.

Details: The counting of the last ballots did not change the situation – three parties and two blocs are entering the new parliament.
The PAS party took first place with 50.2% of the votes. The Patriotic Electoral Bloc of Socialists, Communists, the Heart and Future of Moldova party came second with 24.17%.
The Alternative bloc also entered parliament, gaining 7.96% of the vote, along with Our Party, which secured 6.20%, and the Democracy at Home party with 5.62%.
Other parties and independent candidates failed to pass the electoral threshold. They received less than 1% of the votes.
Turnout in the election was 52%.
Background: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a conversation with Moldovan President Maia Sandu, congratulating her "on a very important victory" of her party in the parliamentary elections.
