Details: Zelenskyy said that in recent months, Ukraine has started to respond to Russian attacks on civilian and energy facilities, "and they are feeling our powerful response".
"They are currently using approximately 500-600 drones per day; we are using 100-150. With increased funding, we can reach similar figures with long-range [drones – ed.]," he added.
Zelenskyy also stated that so far, Ukraine has only used its own weapons for long-range strikes.
Quote: "After my meeting with the US president – perhaps we will have something more. I don't know. We'll see."
Background:
- Last week, Zelenskyy hinted that he had asked the US president to provide Tomahawk missiles and later noted that the decision would be up to Trump.
- According to The Wall Street Journal, the US will provide Ukraine with intelligence to carry out long-range missile strikes on Russia's energy infrastructure.
