Russian attacks on Ukraine kill 1 and leave 16 injured
Russian forces attacked Donetsk, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy and Kherson oblasts on 2 October, killing one person and injuring 16 others.

Details: In Donetsk Oblast, the Russians killed a resident of the city of Kostiantynivka and injured four people.
In Kherson Oblast, dozens of settlements came under fire from drones, aircraft and artillery, including Antonivka, Zelenivka, Prydniprovske, Sadove, Bilozerka, Tomyna Balka, Yantarne, Tiahynka and the city of Kherson itself. The attacks left two apartment buildings and 11 houses damaged. A total of five people have been injured in the oblast over the past 24 hours.
In Kharkiv Oblast, Russian forces attacked 10 settlements, launching 13 missiles, 46 Geran-2 kamikaze UAVs, and 2 FPV drones. A 48-year-old man was injured in the city of Kharkiv, and a 41-year-old man in the village of Novoselivka in the Nova Vodolaha hromada [a hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]. A 70-year-old resident of Kupiansk also sought medical help after being injured in an earlier attack on 24 September. In various districts of the oblast, houses, outbuildings, warehouses and a farming facility were destroyed or damaged.
In Zaporizhzhia Oblast, a 50-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man were injured in attacks on the Komyshuvakha and Kushuhum hromadas. The Russians used four aerial bombs and FPV drones. The blast wave destroyed a garage and caused a fire, and a car was burned out.
In Sumy Oblast, an eight-year-old girl and two women sustained injuries in an attack on the Andriiasivka hromada. Medics provided treatment to the child on site, and hospitalisation was not required. The two adult women suffered acute stress reactions and also received medical assistance.
