Three people injured in Russian attacks on border area in Sumy Oblast

Russian forces attacked the border areas of Sumy Oblast on 6 October, injuring three people.

Quote: "A 49-year-old woman was injured in an enemy strike on a village in the Yunakivka hromada. She was taken to hospital with multiple injuries. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]

She has undergone surgery and is currently under medical supervision in a critical, unstable condition."

Details: A 35-year-old man was injured in a Russian drone attack on a village in the Krasnopillia hromada. He was also taken to hospital.

In addition, a 61-year-old resident of the Sumy hromada was injured when an explosive device went off. He was hospitalised.
