Ukraine's commander-in-chief reports liberation of another 3 sq km in Donetsk Oblast since early October

Since the beginning of October, Ukraine's defence forces have liberated a further 3 sq km of territory in Donetsk Oblast as part of the Dobropillia counteroffensive, bringing the total to 180.8 sq km, with an additional 212.9 sq km cleared of saboteurs.

Details: During a recent working trip, Syrskyi held a meeting with commanders at one of the command posts and listened to reports on the current situation and the fulfilment of tasks.

He also spoke with commanders of units conducting counter-sabotage operations aimed at locating and defeating Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups, as well as isolated Russian groups remaining encircled.

Syrskyi said that Ukrainian assault units continue offensive actions in several areas despite constant Russian counterattacks.

Quote: "In total, 180.8 sq km of Donetsk Oblast have been liberated during the operation, and 212.9 sq km have been cleared of infiltrators."

Details: Syrskyi noted that counter-sabotage measures are ongoing and the defence remains active.

Steps are also being taken to prevent Russian advances on the Pokrovsk front, improve logistics and strengthen the protection of critical infrastructure.
