Russians are pushed back near Kucheriv Yar but advance in Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts – DeepState

DeepState analysts have reported that Ukrainian defence forces have pushed Russian troops back near the village of Kucheriv Yar on the Dobropillia front, but the Russians have advanced near several settlements in Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts.

However, the Russians managed to advance in the area of Hrodivka and Volodymyrivka in Donetsk Oblast, as well as near Stepnohirsk in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

Background:

    • On the evening of 22 October, the Air Assault Forces Command announced the liberation of Kucheriv Yar and released footage showing Ukrainian troops raising the national flag over the village.
    • During the liberation and mopping up of Kucheriv Yar, Ukrainian paratroopers were able to locate civilians and evacuate them to safety.
